We conduct our hunts statewide.
Is hunting done on private or public land?
Arizona offers more public land than any other state. Most hunts will take place on permitted public land as well as state land.
What is the terrain like?
Elevation varies from 2500-8500 feet depending on what part of the state you will be hunting. Higher elevations can range from ponderosa pine flats down to pinion and cedar canyon country. Southern unit hunts usually consist of mesquite and grassy rolling hills to rugged ocotillo, oak/mesquite hillsides.
What kind of weather can I expect?
Early season hunts can reach temperatures of 90 degrees with lows in the 60s. Later seasons depending on where the hunt takes place can be anywhere from a high of 75 to a low of 0-10 degrees. We will always inform you of what weather to expect and prepare for depending on the hunt you book.

Hunter orange is not required in Arizona.

Yes, although some hunts may very upon availability, and we do charge a $100 per day fee for an additional non-hunter. There is no additional charge for a non-hunting parent/guardian accompanying a youth hunter.
What is the average shot distance?
Rifle shots will average from 300 out to 600 yards while archery shots will average 25-75 yards.
What does our hunt day consist of?
Our day will start early before sunrise, we will eat, or pack breakfast and lunch then head out early to a glassing spot. We do most of our glassing from high vantage points to locate game, then a stalk can be planned. Some archery elk and deer hunts may consist of sitting a water source (very effective in AZ) to provide the highest chance at success. On some early season hunts, we may end up back at camp mid-day during the heat of the day. For the later season hunts especially, you should be prepared to be out in the field all day. We will arrive back to camp after sunset to eat a good warm cooked meal and prepare for the next day’s hunt.
What is the difference between Fully Outfitted and Guided-Only hunt?
Fully Outfitted hunts we supply a full camp, meals, beverages (non-alcoholic). Guided-Only hunts you provide your own meals and lodging.
What are your camps like?
Our camps will have canvas wall tents with heating, lighting, and extra-large cots. Hot showers can be provided on wall tent camps. Camps will have a cook or your guide to provide you with breakfast, sack lunch, and a warm cooked meal for dinner.
Is gratuity included into the cost of the hunt?
Tips are not included in the hunt price. Our professional guides work very hard to make sure your hunt is 100% enjoyable and successful. Keep in mind, most of our guides have full time jobs and families and take vacation time to do what we enjoy. Most tips range from 12%-15% of your hunt cost. Tips are always appreciated and earned.
Is transportation provided to camp?
Transportation to camp is not provided. Most hunters that fly in will rent a vehicle at the airport. We will provide all transportation in the field.
What airport do I fly in to?
Phoenix, Flagstaff, & Tucson all have airports and will be determined based upon where your hunt is located.
